Oku‑Kyoto, at Your Doorstep
Kasamatsu Park
A cable‑car viewpoint on the north side, famous for "matanozoki" — viewing the sandbar upside‑down through your legs, said to make it look like a bridge to the sky.
Amanohashidate View Land
The south‑side counterpart to Kasamatsu Park — a hilltop viewpoint and small amusement park reached by chairlift or monorail, overlooking the whole sandbar.
Motoise Kono Shrine
Said to be the origin of Ise Grand Shrine itself, which is why it's known locally as "Motoise" — the original Ise.
